Here I am. Look at me. I have a leaf on my head. What am I doing here? I used to blog like a pro blogger in the world blog finals of blogging, but then I got a writing degree and a divorce and that… that is a weird time to blog. So I stopped – for like nine years, long enough for blogging to get good and passé – except for a couple of random, private posts.
The plan at this point is to start over. Yeah. I’m sticking 752 posts in draft mode, and I’ll gradually bring back a few things that still make me laugh out loud. I’m always funnier in the past.
Over the years this blog has been an organizing platform for the Misbehaving Olympics, a wall against which I flung my creative and spiritual noodles, and a place where I turn when I really, really need to tell you something, whoever you are reading this, even if you are me. It’s mine.
I’ve been doing this for seventeen years, three states and the District of Columbia, seven moves, three dogs, a marriage and divorce, multiple simultaneous careers, some heartbreaks, and a lot of great stuff.
Onward.
